17th Annual Oregon Stroke Conference

The Oregon Stroke Network (OSN) hosts the annual state-wide, professional stroke symposium. The 2023 conference will be an in person event hosted at the Salem Convention Center. Sept. 21st is the pre-conference evening reception & Sept. 22^th is the full-day conference. 

The annual CME/CEU conference is designed to enhance multidisciplinary stroke knowledge and the care of stroke patients across the continuum of care. The target audience is emergency medical system (EMS) providers, emergency department personnel, physicians, nurses, stroke coordinators, rehabilitation therapists, managers, and administrators. The content provided meets the needs of the baseline novice to the expert level with presentations addressing stroke care in the pre-hospital, emergent, acute, and rehabilitation settings.

Resources include support groups, neurology offices, outpatient physical therapy, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community and other resources.  Each of these services have expertise that can make a difference in surviving a stroke and maximizing the quality of life after a stroke.
